The image on the right side of the page is by far one of the most common types of corner situations. We will use a sliding door/window and an opposing window to set this example for an inside Mount, the same steps can be used for an outside Mount.
Step.1
measure the through blind
Step.2
measure the left blind
Step.3
measure the middle blind
Step.4
Place your order for the three blinds, Thru, left and middle. Do not order the right blind at this stage.
Step.5
When you have received the three blinds and installed them into the Windows measure of from the end of the middle blind to the front of the thru blind.
Step.6
place your order for the right blind
By following these steps you will receive your first order of blinds, you should install these into the Windows to begin with. All you need to do then is simply measure the opening for the final blind which will be the blind that meets the thru blind into the corner.
Place your order for the last blind and this make for a perfect fit into the corner.

Sill Depth
For a reveal fit the depth of the window or door frame has to be taken into consideration. Refer to product specifications for depth required.
House Plans
Window measurements from house plans are not recommended. There are many factors to take into consideration when measuring for blinds e.g. reveal or face fit, depth of the window sill, architraves, tiles, door handles etc. You can acquire an estimate price using the measurements from house plans but we recommend measuring each window individually to ensure accuracy. Another point to take into consideration builders, architects and window manufacturers normally show window sizes drop before width ie: 2100d x 1500w. Blind industry standard works the opposite to builders, you must always remember to record your measurements width before drop ie: 1500w x 2100d when measuring windows for blinds.
Multiple Blinds: 2-3 or 4 Blinds installed into 1-Window
|
|
The same measuring rule applies for multiple blinds as per the instructions above.
For multiple blinds being installed into one window you can mount the brackets back to back.
If your window frame has three equal panels measure the overall distance (OV) and just divide by three.
If your window/doorway panels are not equal simply measure each section one at a time to the centre of panel frames.
The combined measurements that you give should be the same as the overall width.
Measuring the drop is the same for all applications, please see instructions above.
