Cheapa-Blinds employ the service of only the most trusted and reliable courier companies and ensures that every blind packaged is given the utmost care and protection. However, we cannot be held accountable for the operation of each individual courier company as once it leaves our warehouse the goods will be in their hands.
We ask that all customers carefully examine their order upon delivery however if you believe goods have been damaged during shipping please read the below points;
- Please inform the courier driver that the cartons you have been delivered appear to be damaged and request this to be noted on the delivery manuscript. You can also ask for a written copy of the report.
- If cartons appear to be badly damaged or dented do not sign or accept the items- request that they be returned to sender.
- Immediately advise Cheapa-Blinds that goods were damaged in the shipping process and that they are being returned. You can do so by completing the relevant Issue Form which will be found in your account area. Please attach any photos where possible.
- If boxes are damaged but you feel the product inside is in good condition it is still a good idea to obtain a written copy of the order highlighting the damage just in case items are damaged upon installation.
- Do not dispose of cartons and boxes of items that have been damaged in shipping. To report the damage you will need to fill out an Issue Form within two days of the delivery date and Cheapa-Blinds may request images of the damaged blinds and cartons.
Please note: Cheapa-Blinds are not responsible for goods that have been authorised to be left and signed for when delivered in the event you, the customer, are not home at the time of delivery to provide a signature.
Cheapa-Blinds will arrange for damaged orders to be reprocessed in the event there is proof goods were damaged during shipping and the Issue Form has been filled out within two days of the date of original delivery.
